Our rules are quite simple, here’s an explanation of each.
1) NO GRIEFING
Griefing is the act of destroying other people’s creations and/or blocks that are not yours. Placing blocks on other people’s creations, destroying blocks on people’s claimed land, and stealing from claimed chests or marked property is also considered griefing. It carries serious consequences so don’t do it, please!
2) NO DISRESPECT
This is huge. Do not insult other players. Treat others with respect and dignity, as you would want to be treated. Trying to put people down or trying to get someone to quit will carry serious consequences on AP, and will definitely get you banned. If you have nothing good to say, then don’t say it at all.
3) NO EXPLOITING
If you find a loophole in one of our plugins or something similar to that, you are to report it to an administrator. Things like taking stuff from chests when plugins are broken, or trying to run administrator commands will carry penalties like temporary bans or in some cases global bans.
4) NO BOTHERING ADMINS
If you need ANYTHING done on the Ampersand Network, type /modreq to request a moderator. Admins are sometimes busy, and will not respond. This includes having things protected, and placing illegal materials. Bothering an admin will get you kicked. Multiple offenses result in further actions such as local bans and severe penalties.
5) NO IMMATURITY
This rule is quite new and is still being developed. Immaturity can include not knowing where to get materials, asking where to build stuff, and general things that are annoying. Asking other people to give you materials when you just log in for the first time is also consider immature and will get you permabanned. Play like a professional user and an advanced one as well.
6) NO CHAT ABUSE
Chat abuse can include advertising, bringing other people to other servers, inappropriate private messages, running bad commands, spamming, inappropriate symbols, and trolling (harassing) other players on the server. Any player caught spamming will be issued a global ban. Other forms of harassment will result in a ban that will be further investigated for other sesequent consequences.
